A short film about the things men don’t say.

You OK? is a short narrative film written and directed by Joe Monks for Golden Ratio Productions, with Emmet O’Brien in the lead role and proudly supported by Barróg Healthcare and James Webb.

The film follows a man moving through the ordinary rhythms of everyday life while privately struggling beneath the surface. A phone call unanswered. Another sleepless night. A conversation avoided. Small moments that gradually reveal how easy it can be to appear fine when you’re anything but.

Created to encourage honest conversations around men’s mental health, You OK? deliberately avoids statistics, lectures and conventional awareness messaging. Instead, it tells a simple human story, because sometimes asking someone if they’re okay, and meaning it, is enough to start a conversation.

Following its release in September 2026, the film quickly found an audience online, generating tens of thousands of organic views, shares and conversations. Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy subsequently joined the film as an Instagram collaborator, describing it as “a thoughtful piece” and encouraging people to pass it on to friends and classmates.

But the numbers were never the point.

If the film makes one person feel less alone, or encourages one conversation that otherwise might never have happened, it has done its job.

Now, with the full support and participation of the band, this feature documentary will explore their extraordinary journey—from humble beginnings in Dublin to becoming one of the most enduring names in Irish music.

The documentary will feature exclusive interviews, rare archive material, previously untold stories, and unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to Brian Warfield's new stage musical, Celtic Exodus, offering audiences a unique insight into the next chapter of his creative journey.

CÚ CHULAINN

Before he became a legend, he was a boy named Sétanta.

In an ancient Ireland ruled by warrior kings, druids and unforgiving gods, a gifted young outsider kills the savage hound of Culann and makes a solemn vow: he will take the animal’s place and defend Ulster himself. From that moment, he is known as Cú Chulainn—the Hound of Ulster.

Years later, the ruthless Queen Medb invades the north to seize the legendary Brown Bull of Cooley. With Ulster’s warriors struck down by an ancient curse, the fate of the kingdom falls upon Cú Chulainn, still only seventeen years old.

Alone at the frontier, he holds back an entire army through a succession of brutal single combats. But as prophecy, pride and the supernatural close around him, Cú Chulainn is forced to confront the one opponent he cannot defeat without destroying part of himself: Ferdiad, his closest friend and foster brother.
