Launching in Dublin, Liberties International Film Festival is a new international film festival rooted in one of the city’s most historic and culturally distinctive districts.

Created to champion bold filmmaking and singular creative voices, LIBERTIES will bring together Irish and international filmmakers, emerging talent, established artists and audiences for a curated programme of feature films, documentaries, shorts, premieres, conversations and special events.

Our ambition is to build an annual festival with a distinctly Dublin identity — filmmaker-led, internationally focused and independent in spirit.

Set against the character and creative heritage of The Liberties,

the festival will create a meeting point between cinema, culture and the city itself.
